What a healthcare marketing agency actually does for a manual therapy clinic

"Healthcare marketing agency" is a category rather than a job description, typed in the United States 5,400 times a month at $26.69 a click, competition 0.32, difficulty 22. Another 4,400 a month type its sibling "medical marketing agency" at $37.04, and neither phrase says what arrives on Monday morning.

The English for the result is much thinner: the whole "patient acquisition" family is 43 phrases wide and 2,110 searches deep. Only three of the 43 carry a supplier word (company, services, specialist), at 10 searches a month each. Against 170 for the plain phrase, the label is searched close to 32 times for every search of the thing it is meant to produce.

So this page is the other half: four parts, in the order they run, and the point where each one stops and hands over.

Or read the short version of the offer first.

What a healthcare marketing agency sells when it sells the whole thing

The market already has a word for buying everything from one supplier: "full service marketing agency" has four exact spellings, each of them at 3,600 searches a month. Nineteen phrases in that set contain the words at all, worth 17,030 searches a month together. The price spread on identical intent is the odd part, $20.92 a click on one spelling and $30.60 on the three others, with a difficulty of 3 on the cheap one and 38 on one of the dearer ones.

What that buyer is buying is rarely defined: four spellings pitting an advertising agency against a marketing agency are searched 200 times a month, and "what is a full-service marketing agency" another 40.

Across the 150 phrases the filter returned, 15 of them hospitality caught by the word inside "hospital", nothing names an appointment, a booking, a record or a follow-up. Our version is four parts: a campaign that produces a person, a record that keeps them, a booking function that gives a time, and the clinic.

Where the agency vocabulary stops: 99 phrases, five missing words

We then took every phrase that puts a marketing agency next to a word about what comes once somebody has raised a hand, and the list stops at 99.

Twelve of the 99 matched our filter only because "leading" contains "lead", and they are worth 2,770 searches a month we have not counted anywhere else

Nineteen of the 99, worth 1,600 searches a month, belong to agencies looking for clients of their own rather than yours, like "how to get leads for my marketing agency" or "crm for marketing agency" at $72.74 a click.

The industry's vocabulary is fluent about tools that face the agency and silent about everything between a person raising their hand and that person lying on a table. That silence is where clinics lose people, and the reason this is four connected pages.

8 phrases name a channel, none names a step

Three of the 135 name social media, 100 searches a month between them, and the person the chain starts with arrives there: Facebook and Instagram ads for clinics.

Search takes just two of the 135, an SEO one at 210 a month and a PPC one at 70, both of them dental: ours is Google Ads for clinics.

The dearest CRM click in the 99 costs $78.59 and belongs to an agency's own list rather than yours: ours is the CRM for clinics, pointed at your patients instead.

One phrase in the 99 names an appointment without naming a company, at 10 searches a month, and that job is the virtual receptionist for clinics.

Each page carries its own measurements, and this one only claims the joins.

18 phrases for dentistry, 10 for every manual therapy trade

Not every profession has suppliers competing for it: in the 135 healthcare phrases left once hospitality is set aside, dentistry occupies 18 and 1,360 searches a month, two of those clicks above $100. Every spelling of chiropractic, physiotherapy, physical therapy, massage and "therapist" put together occupies 10 phrases and 590 searches, so dentistry is shopped for at 2.3 times the volume of every manual therapy trade combined.

The word in our own addresses does worse: "clinic" appears in four of the 135, worth 50 searches a month altogether. The largest of the four, "clinic marketing agency", carries a difficulty of 71, second-highest of the 78 scored phrases in the set and one of the smallest by volume. We use the word because it is accurate, not because anybody types it.

Why we ask you to apply

Nothing here works in pieces: a campaign without a record produces contacts nobody logs, and a record without a booking function produces a list nobody works.

Frequently asked questions

Does it matter that you are not near us?

"Healthcare marketing agency near me" is searched 70 times a month at a difficulty of 6. Another 12 of the 135, worth 140 searches a month, look abroad for the same service, so proximity here is a habit.

How do owners usually choose?

Two spellings of "how to choose a digital marketing agency" take 210 searches a month each and "how to choose a marketing agency" another 90. "Top healthcare marketing agency" takes 210 a month at difficulty 9 on informational intent, so owners want a list rather than proof of a working handover.

Why is there no price on this page?

"Marketing agency cost" is searched 70 times a month at $15.90 and "how much does it cost to hire a marketing agency" 30 times, so the market barely asks. This page quotes no fee, because what sets one is how many of the four parts your clinic needs running.

Would hiring somebody in-house be simpler?

Eight spellings of the same question, agency against in-house, carry 1,120 searches a month, and the only two of them with a price both sit at $4.32. One hire covers one of those four parts, so the honest comparison is against four hires rather than one.

We already have somebody doing ads. Where does that leave us?

Five spellings of "healthcare digital marketing agency" are searched 590 times a month each, and in every one of them the word "digital" means advertising and stops there. Owning that part is normal, and what usually has no owner is the stretch between an ad that worked and a name written in the diary.

Is this only for large practices?

"Medical practice marketing agency" is searched 90 times a month and "private practice marketing agency" 10, at a difficulty of 65, while six phrases naming hospitals carry 360 searches between them. We are built for the single studio, the slice of the market its own vocabulary keeps skipping.
